Daniel van Slochteren joins Open Line board of directors with Innovation portfolio
Daniel van Slochteren, previously CEO of Kahuna Security & Compliance Services, joined the board of Open Line as of 1 November 2021 as Chief Innovation Officer. As a board member, Daniel will focus entirely on extending and strengthening the security services of Open Line. This involves the transition of the Kahuna Security Operations Center (SOC) in Valencia, which was owned until recently by Tesorion, to Open Line.
This SOC will be further complemented by a Network Operations Center (NOC) and will be fully integrated into Open Line's services.
Open Line provides managed cloud services to more than 140 companies mainly in the healthcare, local government, social housing and manufacturing sectors. “The inclusion of the SOC in Valencia means that we are reinforcing our managed cloud services with a fully-fledged managed security service. In times of increasing cyber risks, this is a must”, says Jo Verstappen, CEO Open Line.
In addition to his focus on security, Daniel will also lay the basis for the international expansion of Open Line.
