Position Overview: We are looking for a motivated Junior Data Engineer who has a strong interest in Data Science. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience working within our Connected Data Cloud ecosystem, including platforms like DataVault Builder, Denodo, Open Metadata Catalog, MindsDB, and SingleStore. You will collaborate closely with data scientists and senior data engineers to deliver integrated solutions and insights for our diverse client base.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the development and maintenance of data pipelines and data integration solutions using tools such as DataVault Builder and Denodo.
• Assist in data modeling and data warehouse activities using DataVault methodology.
• Explore and leverage AI-driven insights with MindsDB, facilitating predictive analytics and enhancing data-driven decision-making processes.
• Work collaboratively on metadata management using Open Metadata Catalog to ensure data discoverability, quality, and governance.
• Gain proficiency in database management and performance optimization with SingleStore.
• Work closely with data science teams, supporting data preparation, cleaning, and analysis.
• Participate actively in internal workshops, labs, and knowledge-sharing sessions.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress) in Computer Science, Business Intelligence and Analytics, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and familiarity with databases.
• Familiarity with Python or R is beneficial.
• Exposure to data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI is a plus.
• Demonstrated eagerness to learn data engineering practices and technologies.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Team player, proactive attitude, and willingness to engage in collaborative learning.
